DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first-ever Barry County Developer's Day! Featuring a variety of development opportunities throughout Barry County's various communities\, this event will kick-off with a networking and property showcase. We will kick-off at the Barry Community Foundation\, with networking and light refreshments.  A walking tour of downtown Hastings will take place before departing in the motor coach to Middleville where we will check out development opportunities in the Village.  Lunch presentations will provide attendees with insight into the variety of tools and incentives available in the City\, Village and County.\n\n\n\nDan King\, Planning & Zoning Administrator for the City of Hastings\, and Doug Powers\, Planning & Zoning Administrator for the Village of Middleville\, will be available to discuss allowable uses and the potential for future development at each site\, as well as any incentives that could be utilized. \n\n\n\nRepresentatives from the Redevelopment Ready Communities program and the Barry County Brownfield & Land bank will also be available to discuss some of the unique tools that can be accessed through these entities. Utilizing the Placer.AI platform\, general property reports will be provided for each site on the tour\, when applicable.
