DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Fourth Annual Barry County Career Fest\, hosted at the Barry County Fair Grounds on February 17\, 2026.  This all-day event will focus on a wide variety of career choices found in Barry County and allow high school-aged students from the public and private schools to interact with area businesses and post-secondary educational institutions in pursuit of a possible career pathway.\n\n\n\nThis year we are also adding a time for homeschool families and adult learners and job seekers to explore career opportunities available in Barry County.\n\n\n\nThe Career Fest will focus on a multitude of career choices such as Business Management\, Marketing\, Finance\, Accounting\, Technology\, Engineering\, Manufacturing\, Industrial Technology\, Construction\, Health & Human Services\, Medical\, Natural Resources\, Agriculture\, Horticulture\, Culinary Arts\, Hospitality\, Law Enforcement\, Criminal Justice\, Insurance\, and Mechanics.\n\n \n\nBusiness registration is now open! There is no cost to have a booth at the Barry County Career Fest\; however\, we do ask that your booth is interactive and includes some type of demonstration\, hands-on activity\, or some other dynamic aspect that highlights the various career paths that exist within your company\, large equipment is encouraged!\n\n\n\nThe deadline to register your booth is Tuesday\, February 10\, 2026.\n\nBUSINESS REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED! \n\nWe have reached our capacity for businesses\, please join the wait list!\n\nThank you for your interest.\n\n\n\nGeneral Timeline: (tentative\; schedule subject to change)\n\n7:30am-8:30am: Vendor Setup (optional set-up time available Monday evening)\n\n8:30am-12:15pm: Students\n\n12:15pm-12:45pm: Vendor lunch \n\n12:55pm-3:00pm: Students\n\n3:00pm-3:30pm: Vender Break\n\n3:30pm-5:00pm: Adults and Home School \n\n\n\nThis event is proudly brought to you by the Barry County Chamber & Economic Development Alliance.
