DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first annual Barry County Career Fest\, hosted by Hastings High School on February 24\, 2023.  This all-day event will focus on HHS students in 9-12 grades from 9:00am-3:00pm.  From 6:00pm-8:00pm\, the Career Fair will open up to the general public\, including students from other school districts and colleges & universities. \n\n\n\nThe Barry County Career Fest will feature career opportunities from area businesses\, planning support for students wishing to pursue careers locally\, demonstrations\, and hands-on experiences.  The Career Fest will focus on four major career areas\, with several career paths highlighted within each field.  Featured career areas include:\n\n \n\n*Business Management\, Marketing\, Finance\, and Technology\n\n*Engineering\, Manufacturing\, Industrial Technology\n\n*Health & Human Services\n\n*Natural Resources\, Agri-science\, and Culinary Arts\n\n \n\nBusiness registration is now open! There is no cost to have a booth at the Barry County Career Fest\; however\, we do ask that your booth is interactive and includes some type of demonstration\, hands-on activity\, or some other dynamic aspect that highlights the various career paths that exist within your company.\n\n\n\nThe deadline to register your booth is Friday\, February 17.
