DESCRIPTION:Join us for an Employee Resources & Hiring Fair\, hosted by the BCEDA at Walldorff Brewpub!  An Employee Resource Fair will kick-off this event at 9:00am and will provide potential employees and employers with resources necessary to re-enter the workforce and on-board new employees including:\n\n	Financial Literacy information from Thornapple Credit Union and Highpoint Community Bank\n	Mock Interviews & Resume Review\n	Childcare Accessibility Options from the YMCA of Barry County\n	West Michigan Works resources including Clean Slate program information and adult education/literacy\n	Student Resource information from Davenport University\n	Workforce Accommodations & Resources from Michigan Rehabilitation Services\n	Inmate Re-Entry program information from Starting Over with Success\n\n\nThe Hiring Fair starts at Noon and will include a variety of Barry County businesses and industries.  Participating businesses will be required provide a list of roles and job titles that are available.  Businesses will be clearly identified as offering on-the-spot hiring or scheduling future interviews.\n\n\n\nPlease Note:  Job seekers are highly encouraged to bring updated resumes with them.  If you would like your resume reviewed before the job fair\, please contact West Michigan Works (130 E. State St. Hastings\; 616-649-9850).\n\n\n\nPurpose:  To connect Barry County businesses with potential employees with a focus on the unemployed and under-employed.
