Full-time night shift positions are offered to students who successfully complete the class requirements. \n\n\n\nClass Schedule\n\nThornapple Manor Orientation\n\nWednesday\, April 8   10am-4pm\n\nThursday\, April 9   10am-4pm\n\nFriday\, April 10   10am-4pm\n\n\n\nClass Week 1\n\nMonday\, April 13   7am-3:30pm \n\nTuesday\, April 14   7am-3:30pm\n\nWednesday\, April 15   7am-3:30pm\n\nThursday\, April 16   7am-3:30pm\n\nFriday\, April 17   7am-3:30pm\n\n\n\nClass Week 2\n\nMonday\, April 20   7am-3:30pm\n\nTuesday\, April 21   7am-3:30pm\n\nWednesday\, April 22   6am-2:30pm\n\nThursday\, April 23   6am-2:30pm\n\nFriday\, April 24   6am-2:30pm\n\n\n\nPerfect attendance is required for the entire class. All training happens at Thornapple Manor. \n\n\n\nClass Information:\n\nClass/training time is paid at $16.74/hr. After the class is completed\, participants can immediately start working as a Temporary Nurse Aide. Upon passing the CNA certification exams\, the base rate increases to $19.22/hr. In addition\, night shift and weekend shifts receive a $2.00/hr. shift differential. There is also a Direct Care Wage of $3.40/hour guaranteed through September 2026.\n\n\n\nClass participants will have four months to complete the required two-part CNA testing to become officially certified.
