This event is more than a celebration. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves to feel seen, safe, and supported in their own community. With local vendors, LGBTQ+ resources, live drag entertainment, art, and family-friendly activities, Hastings Pride brings neighbors together to celebrate diversity, connection, and self-expression. In smaller communities like ours especially, Pride creates visibility for people who may otherwise feel isolated, while offering education, support, and a sense of belonging. Pride is necessary because equality, acceptance, and community support still matter, and everyone deserves a place where they can show up as themselves without fear.
