The Certificate of Management program focuses on the management skills necessary to increase the productivity and performance of your team. Find the right mix of guidance, leadership, motivation, and communication to acquire peak results.
This program consists of 6 sessions, with classes held every other week. Topics are:
1. Defining the Leader in You (+ DISC Assessment)
2. Communicating Without Confusion
3. Impacting Motivation
4. Problem Solving for Business
5. Embracing Conflict
6. Creating High Impact Teams

Employers can apply for Customized Training Grants from West Michigan Works! for various types of trainings such as IPEx. Employers must submit a request by the 10th day of the month prior to the scheduled training to allow the review committee time to approve training requests. Customized Training provides funds* for employers in West Michigan to upgrade the skills of existing eligible employees in order to retain or maintain employment, enhance their wage earning capacity, add to the viability and productivity of the business or avert a layoff situation. This type of training is more commonly referred to as Incumbent Worker Training or IWT.
