Flourish Barry County: Hastings HOPS & History Tour
Flourish Barry County invites you to join us for a HOPS & History Walk in downtown Hastings! Grab a beverage, tour the HOPS area, and learn about the historical architecture downtown from Brian Reynolds. Oh, and did we mention, the tour will end at Thornapple Plaza, just in time for Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band!
HOPS is an outdoor, social district that allows for the purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages within the district. Beverages will come in clearly marked cups, are limited in size, and must remain with the HOPS boundaries. Only beverages purchased at participating HOPS locations can be consumed in the district -- please do not BYOB. For more information, please visit https://downtownhastings.com/social-district-hops/.
**Please note: the tour will end at Thornapple Plaza, for the Hastings Live! Performance by Rev. Peyton's Big Damn Band. Thornapple Plaza is not part of the HOPS district, and all alcoholic beverages must be consumed before leaving the HOPS district and entering Thornapple Plaza. The Hastings Rotary Club will have additional beverages (and food) available for purchase at the concessions stand. Anyone consuming alcohol must have a valid, state-issued ID or driver's license and must be 21 years of age or over.
FLOURISH GIVES BACK: this event is free to attend, but we ask any attendee that is able to, to please bring a donation for the Barry County United Way & Volunteer Center's Annual Backpack Program, which provides brand new backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of Barry County kids! For a complete list of supplies and donation materials, please click HERE to view their wish-list!
