Become a Certified Nursing Assistant in just a few weeks with a free training course at Thornapple Manor! Full-time night shift positions are offered to students who successfully complete the class requirements.

Monday, April 13 – 7am-3:30pm 
Tuesday, April 14 – 7am-3:30pm
Wednesday, April 15 – 7am-3:30pm
Thursday, April 16 – 7am-3:30pm
Friday, April 17 – 7am-3:30pm

Class Week 2
Monday, April 20 – 7am-3:30pm
Tuesday, April 21 – 7am-3:30pm
Wednesday, April 22 – 6am-2:30pm
Thursday, April 23 – 6am-2:30pm
Friday, April 24 – 6am-2:30pm

Perfect attendance is required for the entire class. All training happens at Thornapple Manor. 

Class Information:
Class/training time is paid at $16.74/hr. After the class is completed, participants can immediately start working as a Temporary Nurse Aide. Upon passing the CNA certification exams, the base rate increases to $19.22/hr. In addition, night shift and weekend shifts receive a $2.00/hr. shift differential. There is also a Direct Care Wage of $3.40/hour guaranteed through September 2026.

Class participants will have four months to complete the required two-part CNA testing to become officially certified. Thornapple Manor will pay for the first test attempt and assist with scheduling.
