Wednesday Dec 7, 2022
December 7, 2022 Hastings Public Library FREEVideo Conferencing - Digital Literacy
Do you wonder what Zoom and video conferencing is all about? Do you want to stay connected to family and friends when you can’t be together physically? Can’t go to a family holiday, join anyhow! Are you interested in attending library events like Calvin College’s January Series “without actually being in a crowd”?
This “hands on” workshop in our Digital Literacy for Everyone Series will introduce you to a whole new “virtual” world. There are limited seats available in our FREE Video Conferencing Basics Workshop on December 7 at 2:00 pm in the Hastings Public Library’s Community Room, no laptop required.
During Registration you can register to use a Library Laptop for this class or to bring your own. Register Now! Allow our Video trainer to assist you in expanding your world, create a personal account and explore basic features for attending and hosting meetings.
A primary objective of the workshop is for you to increase confidence in your ability to engage in online meetings in this 60 to 90-minute workshop. These workshops are part of a Digital Literacy for Everyone series made possible by the PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T.
