Hastings Promotes Brian Baum to Vice President

HASTINGS, Mich.— Hastings is proud to announce its promotion of Brian Baum to Vice President. In his new role, Baum is responsible for strategic initiatives directing the future of the company as well as new business development, brand positioning, and product oversight.

Baum joined Hastings in August 2019 as Assistant Controller. He previously worked at Crowe as Senior Audit Staff for three years and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting and a master’s degree in accounting, both from Grand Valley State University.

“Brian’s experience and education in accounting and financial oversight has been an asset to Hastings for over five years. We are excited to provide an opportunity for him to take on additional leadership and responsibilities in his new role and help drive Hastings forward,” said Dave Russell, Hastings’ President.
As the great-grandson of Hastings founder Earl McMullin, Baum continues the legacy of family leadership as the fourth generation to guide the company since its founding in 1959.
