2027 Barry County Career Fest

Join us for the Fifth Annual Barry County Career Fest, hosted at the Barry County Fair Grounds on February 26, 2027.  This all-day event will focus on a wide variety of career choices found in Barry County and allow school-aged students from the public and private schools to interact with area businesses and post-secondary educational institutions in pursuit of a possible career pathway.

This year we are continuing to offer a time for homeschool families and adult learners and job seekers to explore career opportunities available in Barry County.

The Career Fest will focus on a multitude of career choices such as Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Construction, Health & Human Services, Medical, Natural Resources, Agriculture, Horticulture, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Insurance, and Mechanics.
 

There is no cost to have a booth at the Barry County Career Fest; however, this event costs approximately $5000 and donations to support rental of the facility, student incentive prizes and busing are welcomed. We ask that your booth is interactive and includes some type of demonstration, hands-on activity, or some other dynamic aspect that highlights the various career paths that exist within your company, large equipment is encouraged!

The deadline to register your booth is Friday, February 19, 2026.

General Timeline: (tentative; schedule subject to change)
7:30am-8:30am: Vendor Setup (optional set-up time available Thursday evening)
8:30am-12:15pm: Students
12:15pm-12:45pm: Vendor lunch 
12:55pm-3:00pm: Students
3:00pm-3:30pm: Vender Break
3:30pm-5:00pm: Adults and Home School
