Embracing Change: Overcoming Challenges, Leading to Success

Sarah Moyer-Cale, City Manager for the City of Hastings, will kick-off our event with a presentation encouraging us all to "Embrace Change".  Sarah will discuss how the ATHENA tenets manifested throughout the completion of the Hastings Downtown Streetscape project -- a major investment into the downtown corridor that brought about significant change to the downtown community. 

About Our Speaker:

Sarah Moyer-Cale serves as the city manager of Hastings, having previously worked in similar roles in both Paw Paw and Almont.  She has worked in public administration for nearly 10 years.  Sarah completed her undergraduate studies in urban ministry at the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago.  She holds a master's degree in urban planning from Wayne State University and a graduate certificate in public administration from Central Michigan University.  She presently serves on the Michigan Municipal Executives Board of Directors.
