This program incorporates exercises to demonstrate real-world application and the role of decision-making in the project management process. The project management concepts and terms taught in this program are based on PMI's PMBOK Guide.

Employers must submit a request by the 10th day of the month prior to the scheduled training to allow the review committee time to approve training requests. Customized Training provides funds* for employers in West Michigan to upgrade the skills of existing eligible employees in order to retain or maintain employment, enhance their wage earning capacity, add to the viability and productivity of the business or avert a layoff situation. This type of training is more commonly referred to as Incumbent Worker Training or IWT.
