Developer's Day: Middleville

Join us for the second Barry County Developer's Day, featuring the Village of Middleville! Featuring a variety of development opportunities throughout the Village, this event will kick-off with a walking tour of downtown Middleville.  Lunch will be held at <_____>, and will feature presentations from a variety of key partners, showcasing relevant development tools and existing projects.  The afternoon will be spent discussing opportunities for development along the M-37 corridor.

Doug Powers, Planning & Zoning Administrator, and Kassandra Clark, Community Development Coordinator, for the Village of Middleville, will be available to discuss allowable uses and the potential for future development at each site, as well as any incentives that could be utilized. 

Representatives from the Redevelopment Ready Communities program and the Barry County Brownfield & Land bank will also be available to discuss some of the unique tools that can be accessed through these entities. Utilizing the Placer.AI platform, general property reports will be provided for each site on the tour, when applicable. Attendees will also be provided copies of the Barry County Developers Guide, a brand new resource intended to streamline the development process in Barry County!

Tours will kick-off at Westen's, through downtown to the Metal Dyne site on State Street, and ending at Faro's Pizza for dialogue.
