August 24-26, 2018 Downtown Hastings, MI Free to attend; fees differ for various sporting events and activities Hastings Summerfest Committee The Hastings Summerfest is an annual summer festival held in Downtown Hastings by the Barry County Chamber of Commerce Summerfest Committee. The event features arts & crafts vendors on the courthouse lawn, concessions, free trolley rides, the backwoods triathlon, a softball tournament, 3-on-3 basketball, Spectrum Health Pennock's Summerfest 10K/5K run, weight lifting contest, Summerfest Grand parade, children's parade, Hastings Car Club car show, live entertainment (courtesy of Hastings Live at Summerfest) and the Elk's Lodge refreshment tent.
